DSA publishes a guide regarding the data sharing between public bodies

The European Authority for Data Administration in the Public Sector (Data Standards Authority - “DSA”), published, in the first week of August of this year, a guiding document aiming to improve data sharing between public bodies, making public services more efficient and complying with standards, principles and rules for the protection of personal data.

In addition, DAS understands that standard procedures for processing personal data create a robust way to store and share personal data with the Government. The document focuses on data shared between bodies, as well as public data that are available on official websites of the government and other websites of the public sector. According to DAS, these standards will allow citizens to access high-quality data, quickly, easily and securely, protecting privacy throughout the procedure.
