Azevedo Sette introduces new partners in Labor Law, Litigation, Corporate M&A and Succession Planning

Committed to the continuous development of our in-house talents, it is with great pleasure that we announce three new partners: Silvia Pellegrini Ribeiro, Fabricio Faggiani Dib and Rafael Tavares Bassoli, who specialize in Labor Law, Litigation, Corporate Law and Succession Planning, respectively, at the São Paulo office of Azevedo Sette Advogados.

Silvia has been playing a significant role co-leading our Labor Law area, providing customized support to Brazilian and international companies. With over 20 years of experience in her field, our new partner holds a specialization degree in Business Law from IBMEC and an LL.B. degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro (PUC/RJ).

Fabricio joined the firm in 2007 and has been conducting exemplary work coordinating the Civil Litigation and Insurance teams, responsible for assisting large companies and insurance providers. He holds a post-graduate degree in Civil Procedure Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo (PUC/SP), specialization degrees in Insurance Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Reorganizations and Corporate Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/SP) and an LL.B. degree from Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas.

As to Rafael, since his return to the firm in 2017 he has been assisting clients in complex M&A transactions and corporate matters, as well as in succession and estate planning operations. In addition, he is the head of our highly successful Italian Desk, which supports both Italian individuals and legal entities doing business in Brazil, and Brazilians investing in Italy and/or in the so-called Swiss-Italian region. Rafael is currently attending a Master’s program in Civil Law at Universidade de São Paulo (USP), the same institution that granted his LL.B. degree. As part of his education, he also partially attended law school at Universitá degli Studi di Trieste, in Italy.

The above promotions strengthen our commitment to the development of all our professionals and the acknowledgement of outstanding performances, within our group of lawyers, of those prepared to undertake new and greater challenges.

"Our new partners have the DNA of Azevedo Sette, always delivering good-quality service to our clients, committed to finding innovative solutions to complex issues. We are certain that they will continue to contribute to the sustained growth of Azevedo Sette Advogados", highlights senior partner Luiz A. Sette.

Compliance, Investigations and White-Collar Partners

In May, we had already announced that attorneys Isabel Franco and Glaucia Ferreira, highly regarded professionals in the areas of compliance, investigations and white-collar, joined our firm as partners and, jointly with our partner Luiz Eduardo Salles and other team members, provide full service in compliance to our clients.
