Professional activities

She was the Chair of the New York State Bar Association, the Vice Chair of the IBAs Anti-Corruption Commission, rapporteur for the OAB / SP Ethics Tribunal, and a representative of Transparency International in Brazil for many years. At AmCham/SP, she was their Legal Advisor, and a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. She was a finalist of the Claudia Award in 2010, in the category "Business" for her role in the fight against corporate corruption. For years Isabel has been nominated Number 1 lawyer in Latin America in the practice of anti-corruption and compliance by the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA) and was included in the list of the 100 best investigators in the world by the Global Investigations Review (GIR). Isabel is ranked by international directories as Chambers Latin America as Band 1, the highest ranking, and recognized as "Foreign Expert for USA" by Chambers Global. In The Legal 500 was ranked in the Hall of Fame, the highest position in the ranking.  

Of dual nationality, U.S. and Brazilian, Isabel is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Brazil and member of the Strategic of Corporate Governance Committee of the AMCHAM. She is also part of the following boards: Ethics Council of CWC – Compliance Women Committee and Board of Directors of the CESA – Centro de Estudos da Sociedade de Advogados.
